Woman in the Mirror

1/100 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 800, 85mm

Many of the Carnevale masks took their mirrors with them this year. These definitely made it more interesting and added another dimension for us photographers. It was, of course, a mad rush to be first and be at the perfect angle for this. The very second the mask positions her face into the mirror, expect some scurrying around. If you’re slow and timid, you might not get your shot.

  1. Hi Yen,

Great series! How did you do the third shot from the top? Were there two people with the same mask? Or was she standing by a big mirror with a hand mirror?

    • Hi Rex! They were a pair actually – one in pink and one in blue, and both had mirrors. My lens’ field of view was a bit narrow and I was only able to get 1 and 1/2 of them in the frame 🙂
